SAFIR PROJECT: OUJDA: AN ECOLOGICAL AND SUSTAINABLE FOOTPRINT

Oujda, a city committed to a sustainable future, is at the heart of an innovative initiative. Co-financed by the European Union, the project aims to unite the forces of youth, local authorities and civil society.

General objective:

Create a synergy of action between young people, local authorities and civil society in the city of Oujda in terms of ecology and sustainability, and contribute to achieving the 11th sustainable development goal.

The project aims to raise awareness of ecological issues among local players, in particular young people, elected representatives and civil servants in the Oujda municipality. By encouraging collaboration between these different players, it creates a synergy of action for the sustainable management of natural resources and the reduction of the city’s ecological footprint.
